The tree incident!
Recently my son and I ran into a bit of a problem. A tree fell across the power lines at the location we were staying at that night. It was around midnight when it happened, so there was no one to call for help at that time. We began praying, seeking Jesus Christ on what to do. You can imagine our surprise when he said, “Go to sleep!”
My son stayed up to spend more time with our lovely Jesus a little longer. I on the other hand went to sleep. I was awakened around 2:17am from a short dream. In this dream from my lovely Jesus he revealed to me how and in what direction we could hook straps to the tree and then to the Lord’s van on its bumper and then slowly pull it down off the lines.
Now most people might think this was a foolish thing to do. What if something went wrong and we pulled the lines down? That’s stinky thinking. If God tells you how to do something after you have prayed in faith, believing he will answer, then shouldn’t you exercise your faith in the God you profess to serve and love?
We hooked the straps to the van and under my son’s watchful eye I slowly pulled the tree off the power lines with the van. And because we did it as our lovely Jesus had shown us, it fell to the ground without causing any damages to anything. It fell perfectly away from the house, shed, and the Lord Jesus’ van. Praise God for a Savior who cares about every little detail of our lives.
